A Proven Leader for Clark County

Manny Kess is a longtime entrepreneur, investor, and community leader with more than two decades of experience building and leading successful businesses. Raised in New York and influenced by his time at the U.S. Naval Academy, Manny developed a strong work ethic and a lasting sense of service early in life.

While attending the Naval Academy, Manny lost his father, an experience that changed his outlook on life and leadership.

During the Great Recession, Manny faced major personal and financial setbacks. He rebuilt from the ground up and made Nevada his home 14 years ago. Starting with nothing, he grew The Kess Group into one of Las Vegas’s most respected hospitality companies, serving athletes, entertainers, business leaders, and local families.

Manny’s ventures now include restaurants, real estate, a travel startup, a sports memorabilia business, and a responsibly farmed, non-GMO, direct-to-consumer organic chicken farm. Along the way, he has created jobs, supported families, and reinvested in the Southern Nevada community.

Manny is candid about the lessons he has learned along the way. Every challenge strengthened his values and sharpened his perspective, giving him firsthand understanding of what it takes to lead, adapt, and persist through adversity.

His greatest motivation is his daughter. He is running to protect her future, and the future of all children, by focusing on safer neighborhoods, responsible leadership, and long-term opportunity.

Manny is running for Clark County Commission, District E, because he believes taxpayers deserve greater transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility.
